About Dapoxetine (Poxet)
Poxet contains Dapoxetine, the only licensed medication for premature ejaculation (PE) in men. A short-acting SSRI taken on-demand before sexual activity, it significantly increases intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) and improves control over ejaculation and sexual satisfaction.

How Dapoxetine Works
Dapoxetine is a rapid-onset, short-duration SSRI that inhibits serotonin transporter, increasing synaptic serotonin in the ejaculatory control centres of the CNS. Elevated serotonin activity in the spinal ejaculation generator delays the ejaculatory reflex, extending IELT and improving ejaculatory control.
Dosage & Usage
- Dosage: 30mg or 60mg taken 1–3 hours before sexual activity; not more than once in 24 hours.
- Precautions: Avoid alcohol; risk of orthostatic hypotension; not for use with MAOIs.
